Keep deflecting to deal massive Spirit damage and don’t forget to perform a Fatal Strike when the lock-on turns red. One is a giant spiked projectile, one during which he stomps his stick on the ground and a third one where he tries piercing you with his handle. You can rinse and repeat this strategy, occasionally deflecting his lightning bolts and Critical Blow attacks. As you lands some strikes, you’ll reach your Spirit meter, allowing you to keep encouraging Sun. Given that the boss’s main element is Lightning, Water and Earth are good counters. Here’s the strategy: encourage Sun to attack the boss and while he’s at it, you can deal some blows from behind as well as cast some spells. Now return to the pyre area and make your way halfway up the stairs. Now make your way to the back of the other rooftop to find a cave entrance.įollow it to Marking Flag 7, the final one for this mission. Here, go to the back of the rooftop to find a hole you can climb down and reach Marking Flag 6. Then, return to Battle Flag 4 and stand between it and the entrance to the area with giant pyre and make your way to the left rooftop by means of the wooden battlements. Have your ally take care of most of of the fight while you deal occasional blows. Here, defeat the enemies, and grab the Dragon Vein Crystal from the bench in one of the side rooms.Īfter clearing the area, you’ll be invaded by a red enemy called Zhao Hong. Return to Battle Flag 4 and open the gate. Once you’ve cleared the area, return to the Fanatic courtyard and open up the gate to find some Fanatics and a Suanyu.Īfter clearing the area you can interact with Battle Flag 5. Facing the Battle Flag (not the gate), flank the left side and the first opening, turn left again to find Marking Flag 5. Rest at the Battle Flag and then start clearing the entire area. This will also activate the Battle Flag that’s directly below the bridge. From the bridge, you should be able to shoot the Warlock in the middle tower, thus dispelling the corruption of all the enemies down below. From the end of the bridge, check the small room to your left for a chest. You can’t reach it yet, but you can drop down on a corrupted Fanatic down below.Īfter defeating it, climb up the nearby ladder and double jump to Marking Flag 4.Ĭlimb the same ladder back up and continue along the wooden ramparts and past the bridge. Climb it up, while trying to not get spotted by the corrupted Changgui.ĭispose of the guard lurking behind the second ladder, then climb it up and make your way towards the Marking Flag that’s on the other side of the area. Now have your back at the gate in this area and flank the right side to find another ladder. These shouldn’t pose too much of a problem and, if need be, encourage Sun to take care of some of them. Climb it up to reach Marking Flag 3.įrom here, drop down below for a chest, then continue below to find a courtyard infested with Fanatics. First, don’t drop down, but continue around the wooden platforms.Īfter defeating a Fanatic, you should see a white-painted wall. Continue along the corrupted path and you’ll reach a new large area with a Warlock in the middle tower. Their element is fire, so you can counter it with a water spell if you have one slotted. Here you will find a new enemy type, a Houshu, a porcupine looking demon whose Critical Blow is a roll. Now climb up the platform right of the hill going up and continue up a second rooftop for a Golden Cicada Shell. Return to the shortcut ladder, climb it back up, and drop down to the other side. In front of you, there should be three dogs.īehind the three dogs, in the furthermost corner is a building with lots of destructible crates inside. You’ll eventually reach a shortcut ladder.ĭrop down the ladder and stop for a moment. Go back up the rooftops and continue as though you were to go back to the start of the area. Drop down, eliminate them and then enter the nearby house for Marking Flag 2. Facing Battle Flag 3, climb up the ledges on the right side to eventually be able to sneak up on an archer.įrom the archer’s location, continue along the rooftops until you see two guards on the ground facing each other, one of which wielding an axe.
